Eissa Ali Abdelaziz is the Vice President of Ain Shams University for Post Graduate Studies and Research, Cairo, Egypt. He received his PhD in 1994 from Ain Shams University, Egypt and University of Maryland, USA. He has 42 published papers in national and international journals. He is a Cairo MIRCEN director, that was established in Egypt under the auspices of UNESCO/ICRO/UNEP, to serve different aspects of Applied and Environmental Microbiology in the region. He has contributions in 15 research projects locally and internationally. He joined the research team of Human Nutrition Lab, USDA, George Washington University and the National Institute of Health NIH to discover the effective and positive role of soy and flaxseed meals in the treatment of obesity and diabetes disease. He also contributed to the development of the first standard specification for the quality and safety of condensed milk, cream and butter products, in MDVA milk produces, USA.
