Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin is the Executive Director for the Arab States and the Maldives at the International Monetary Fund, the United Nations Special Envoy on Financing the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda. He has been recently appointed as the High-Level Climate Champion for the Egyptian COP27 Presidency. Dr. Mohieldin has worked in a number of international economic and financial institutions that included serving as the Senior Vice President of the World Bank for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development until 2020. He served as Minister of Investment in Egypt from 2004 to 2010.
