After getting his Ph.D. from Paris X Nanterre la Defense University in France, Dr. Mohamed Ali Chatti began his professional career at the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) in 2010 while continuing to lecture at the ESSEC Tunisia. In 2018, he was promoted to be the manager of the Islamic Finance Investments Division, managing two strategic portfolios for the IsDB: the direct equity portfolio of IsDB in Islamic Financial institutions and the Awqaf Properties Investment Fund (APIF). In addition to his duties, Dr. Chatti was nominated as acting Director for the Islamic Finance Sector Development Department in October 2019. After 4 years and the implementation of transformative marketing and operational strategies for APIF, the fund is displaying great improvement on its financial and operational indicators.
