Cecilia Milesi

Cecilia is a Latin American sociologist and global changemaker dedicated to transforming international cooperation through inclusive, community-led research and policy innovation. With over 25 years of experience, she has worked with UN agencies, development banks, INGOs, philanthropic foundations, and academic institutions across Latin America, Africa, Asia, and Europe. Her work bridges human rights, decolonization, participatory action-research, and organizational change. She has held senior advisory roles with ODI Global, the UN, and global South think tanks, and currently co-leads research on equity and evaluation supported by the Ford Foundation, King’s College London, and Canada’s IDRC. Cecilia founded the Global Change Center and Subir al Sur, a youth participation initiative. She is an Asia Global Fellow and a Fellow of the Global South Unit for Mediation, frequently publishing and speaking internationally. Originally from Santa Fe, Argentina, she has been honored as a distinguished citizen of her hometown.
