John Gargani

John is an expert in evaluation, education, and social impact. He holds a PhD in education from the University of California, Berkeley, an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and an MS in statistics from New York University’s Stern School of Business. A past president and secretary of the American Evaluation Association, John has extensive experience leading diverse evaluations and advancing innovative approaches to scaling impact. He is co-author of the book Scaling Impact: Innovation for the Public Good (Routledge), which offers practical strategies for expanding the positive effects of innovations, programs, and products. His contributions have been recognized with the Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Pittsburgh’s Swanson School of Engineering.
