Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman is an economist and had his Ph.D. in Economics from Imperial College, London. He also completed a post-graduate diploma in Islamic Banking and Insurance from the UK. Dr. Rahman worked as Director of Research at the Islami Bank Training and Research Academy of IBBL from 2006 to 2021. During this period, he worked as Head of Training and Research Academy, Jaiz Bank Plc, Nigeria, for 3 years, on deputation from IBBL. He also worked as a researcher with different capacities in two Government Research institutes in Bangladesh from 1987 to 2006. He has 40 articles published in different national and international journals and presented 50 papers at home and abroad in different seminars. Dr. Rahman visited more than 30 countries for training, academic and seminar purposes. He authored seven books on Economics and Finance published from home and abroad.
